Warranty
Don't worry. You have a 2-year warranty from the delivery of the product under the conditions listed below.
Please read the user manual carefully to avoid improper assembly and misuse of the product.
During the warranty period, all original parts are covered against manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of components such as brake pads, brackets, hoses, tires, disc brakes, rim brakes, and bulbs.
The warranty does not cover failure issues caused by improper handling if maintenance measures do not follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Accordingly, the warranty is only valid if regular maintenance is performed.
For warranty issues, please contact our service team directly. It is the customer's responsibility to make any claims directly with Keskin. Repairs and product replacements must be approved in advance by Keskin. Failure to follow these steps may void the warranty.
Improper use of the mobile application will also void the warranty, as will disassembling the control unit, charger, battery, and motor without permission. For products covered by this limited warranty, we will either repair or replace these products (or the defective part) free of charge during the warranty period.
If the above warranty conditions are met, the following warranty periods apply to the parts:
- * for tires, spokes, grips, brake pads, seat post clamp 3 months,
- * for seat cushions, discs, brakes 6 months,
- * for pedals, display panel, rim 1 year
- * for front light, motor, controller, torque sensor, sprocket, crank, forks, frame, battery, front hub, belt, freewheel, backlight, seat post, and handlebar 2 years.
FAQ - Warranty
Warranty of the electric bicycles
The seller guarantees that the electric bicycles are free from material and manufacturing defects at the time the risk passes.
Statutory warranty period
The statutory warranty period is two years from the delivery of the e-bikes. Within this period, the buyer has the right to subsequent performance, that is either the removal of the defect (repair) or the delivery of a defect-free e-bike (replacement delivery).
Buyer's rights in case of failed supplementary performance
If the subsequent performance fails or is unreasonable, the buyer may choose to reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract.
Manufacturer warranties for electric bicycles
In addition to the statutory warranty rights, manufacturer guarantees may apply to certain electric bicycles. Information about this can be found in the product descriptions or will be communicated separately to the buyer.
Scope of the Manufacturer's Warranty
The manufacturer's warranty covers certain components or parts of the electric bicycle and may vary from one maker to another. The exact terms and length of the manufacturer's warranty are set out in the warranty conditions of the respective maker. The buyer is urged to read and observe the warranty conditions carefully.
Requirements for the Manufacturer's Warranty
To make use of the manufacturer's warranty, it may be necessary for the buyer to register the e-bike with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer or to meet certain conditions. The seller will inform the buyer about these requirements and, if necessary, assist with the registration.
Exclusion criteria for warranty and guarantee
The warranty and the manufacturer's guarantee do not cover damage or defects caused by improper use, carelessness, accident, improper maintenance, or repairs by unauthorized persons. The buyer is obliged to use, maintain, and repair the e-bike according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Duty to report defects
In the event that the buyer discovers a defect during the warranty or guarantee period, they are obliged to report it immediately to the seller or the maker and to make the e-bike available for inspection and repair.
Warranty Terms for Batteries
The battery integrated into the product, as well as the replacement batteries and battery accessories, have been designed to retain at least 70% of their original capacity after 500 charge cycles within the warranty period, according to the provisions of Article 1 of these terms. This means you can charge the product up to five hundred times to 100% during the warranty period before the original capacity falls below 70%. It is considered user error if the cells die because the battery is not charged within 6-8 weeks. For this reason, we recommend charging the batteries at regular intervals.
Factors influencing the range
The range is influenced by various factors (weight, weather, terrain): therefore, the stated range is always the maximum range that can be achieved under good environmental conditions. A lower range is not covered by the warranty, as these factors are under your control.
Warranty exclusion for batteries
The warranty for batteries does not cover damage caused by overvoltage, use of an unsuitable charger, improper maintenance or other abusive use, normal wear and tear, water damage, or improper storage (below 0° or above +45°).
Non-transferability of warranty and guarantee
The warranty and the manufacturer's guarantee apply only to the first buyer and are not transferable. A transfer of warranty or guarantee claims to third parties is excluded.
