Guarantee
Do not worry. You have a guarantee of 2 years from the delivery of the product under the conditions mentioned below.
Please read the operating instructions carefully to avoid improper assembly and misuse of the product.
During the warranty period, all original parts are covered against defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on components such as brake pads, brackets, hoses, tires, disc brakes, rim brakes and light bulbs.
The warranty does not cover failure problems resulting from improper handling if maintenance procedures are not in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. The guarantee therefore only applies if regular maintenance is carried out.
If you have any warranty issues, please contact our service team directly. It is the customer's responsibility to file any claims directly with Keskin . Repairs and replacements of products must be approved in advance by Keskin . Failure to take these steps may void the warranty.
Improper use of the mobile application will void the warranty, as will disassembling the control unit, charger, battery and motor without authorization. With respect to products covered by this limited warranty, we will either repair or replace such products (or the defective part) free of charge during the warranty period.
If the above warranty conditions are met, the following warranty periods apply to the parts:
- * for tires, spokes, grips, brake pads, seat tube clamp 3 months,
- * for seat cushions, discs, brakes 6 months,
- * for pedals, scoreboard, rim 1 year
- * for front light, motor, controller, torque sensor, sprocket, crank, forks, frame, battery, front hub, belt, freewheel, backlight, seat post and handlebars 2 years.
FAQ - Warranty
Warranty of e-bikes
The seller guarantees that the e-bikes are free of material and manufacturing defects at the time of transfer of risk.
Statutory warranty period
The statutory warranty period is two years from delivery of the e-bikes. Within this period, the buyer has the right to subsequent performance, i.e. either the elimination of the defect (repair) or the delivery of a defect-free e-bike (replacement delivery).
Rights of the buyer in the event of failed subsequent fulfillment
If subsequent fulfillment fails or is unreasonable, the buyer can, at his discretion, reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract.
Manufacturer warranties for e-bikes
In addition to the statutory warranty rights, manufacturer warranties may apply to certain e-bikes. Information about this can be found in the product descriptions or will be communicated to the buyer separately.
Scope of the manufacturer's warranty
The manufacturer's warranty extends to certain components or parts of the e-bike and can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The exact conditions and duration of the manufacturer's warranty are set out in the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer. The buyer is requested to read and observe the warranty conditions carefully.
Manufacturer Warranty Requirements
In order to benefit from the manufacturer's warranty, the buyer may be required to register the e-bike with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer or meet certain conditions. The seller will inform the buyer about these requirements and, if necessary, assist with registration.
Exclusion criteria for warranty and guarantee
The warranty and manufacturer's guarantee do not cover damage or defects caused by misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or repairs by unauthorized persons. The buyer is obliged to use, maintain and repair the e-bike in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Obligation to report defects
In the event that the buyer discovers a defect during the warranty or guarantee period, he is obliged to immediately report this to the seller or the manufacturer and to make the e-bike available for inspection and repair.
Warranty conditions for batteries
The battery integrated into the Product, as well as the replacement batteries and battery accessories, have been designed to maintain at least 70% of their original capacity within the warranty period after 500 charging cycles in accordance with the provisions of Article 1 of these Terms. This means that during the warranty period you can charge the product to 100% up to five hundred times before the original capacity falls below 70%. It is user error if the cells die because the battery does not charge within 6-8 weeks. For this reason, we recommend charging the batteries at regular intervals.
Factors influencing the reach
The range is influenced by various factors (weight, weather, ground): The stated range is therefore always the maximum range that can be achieved under good environmental conditions. A shorter range is not covered by the guarantee as these factors are influenced by you.
Warranty exclusion for batteries
For batteries, the warranty does not cover damage caused by overvoltage, use of an unsuitable charger, improper maintenance or other misuse, normal wear and tear or water damage, improper storage (below 0° or above +45°).
Non-transferability of the warranty and guarantee
The warranty and manufacturer's guarantee apply only to the original purchaser and are not transferable. A transfer of warranty or guarantee claims to third parties is excluded.
