Mobility for a Better Future
Keskin E-Bike is proud to launch the "One 4 One" project, a social initiative that aims to fundamentally change the lives of families in the Rwampara district in the Western Region of Uganda. In this region, people, especially teachers and farmers, struggle with significant mobility problems. Long walks, often lasting several hours, significantly affect both education and agricultural production. The "One 4 One" project starts right here to create sustainable solutions. The mobility problem in Rwampara district
The lack of adequate transportation forces people to travel long distances on foot. Teachers and farmers are particularly affected: delays in school lessons affect children's educational opportunities and farmers lose valuable time that they need for their agricultural work. This challenge creates a cycle of poverty and lack of opportunity that negatively impacts the economic and social life of the entire region. The goal: 5,000 bicycles for Uganda
Our vision is clear: we want to donate 5,000 bicycles to families in the Rwampara district. With every e-bike sold, we come one step closer to this goal, because for every e-bike sold, we donate a bicycle! We therefore want to donate an amount of around 1 million euros. Keskin E-Bike covers all costs of this initiative to ensure that the bicycles really get to where they are needed.cooperation with NHDA
To ensure that the bikes reach the people who need them most, Keskin E-Bike has partnered with the National Human Development Association (NHDA). The NHDA will deliver the bikes directly to the target groups, including teachers, farmers and other needy families who have previously been unable to afford transportation.success stories
Anya's story
Anya, a 34-year-old widow from Uganda, was not only responsible for her four children, but also had to carry heavy bags of food long distances to and from the market every day. These long, dusty roads made it difficult for her to transport enough goods to support her family and prevented her from reaching more distant markets. Through the “One 4 One” project, Anya received one of the donated bicycles, which changed her life for the better. Now she could transport more goods and reach distant markets, which boosted her business. This opened up a new future full of hope and opportunity for Anya and her children.Jon, the teacher
For Jon, a dedicated teacher, the long daily walk to school was a big challenge. The exhaustion robbed him of the energy he needed to inspire his students. But everything changed when he received a bike from the One 4 One initiative. Suddenly Jon could teach with enthusiasm and his students were thriving. The bike not only gave Jon back mobility, but also the opportunity to change the lives of his students and give them a better future.A sign of gratitude
As a thank you for supporting this important project, all buyers of a Keskin e-bike will receive a personal certificate confirming their involvement in this life-changing initiative. This certificate symbolizes not only support, but also contribution to changing the lives of people in need.A Call for Cooperation
We are convinced that together we can achieve great things. With the "One 4 One" project we want to give the people of Uganda a new perspective and improve their mobility. To reach our goal of 5,000 bikes, we invite our partners and supporters to promote and spread this project.Every support counts and helps change the lives of families in Uganda - one trip at a time. Let's work together to bring more bikes and therefore more opportunities to communities in need!
