Mobility for a Better Future
Keskin E-Bike is proud to launch a social initiative with the "One 4 One" project, aimed at fundamentally changing the lives of families in the Rwampara District in the western region of Uganda. In this area, people, especially teachers and farmers, face significant mobility challenges. Long walks, often lasting several hours, severely impact both education and agricultural production. The "One 4 One" project addresses this issue to create sustainable solutions. The Mobility Problem in Rwampara District
The lack of suitable transportation forces people to walk long distances. Teachers and farmers are particularly affected: delays in school attendance reduce children's educational opportunities, and farmers lose valuable time needed for their agricultural work. This challenge creates a cycle of poverty and missed opportunities that negatively affects the economic and social life of the entire region. The Goal: 5,000 Bicycles for Uganda
Our vision is clear: we want to donate 5,000 bicycles to families in the Rwampara District. With every E-Bike sold, we get one step closer to this goal, because for every E-Bike sold, we donate a bicycle! We aim to raise around 1 million euros. Keskin E-Bike covers all costs of this initiative to ensure the bicycles truly reach those who need them.Collaboration with NHDA
To ensure the bicycles reach the people who need them most, Keskin E-Bike has partnered with the National Human Development Association (NHDA). NHDA will deliver the bicycles directly to the target groups, including teachers, farmers, and other needy families who previously could not afford transportation.Success Stories
Anya’s Story
Anya, a 34-year-old widow from Uganda, was not only responsible for her four children but also had to carry heavy sacks of food over long distances to the market and back every day. These long, dusty paths made it difficult for her to transport enough goods to feed her family, and she couldn’t reach more distant markets. Through the "One 4 One" project, Anya received one of the donated bicycles, which positively changed her life. She could now transport more goods and reach distant markets, boosting her business. For Anya and her children, this opened a new future full of hope and opportunities.Jon, the Teacher
For Jon, a dedicated teacher, the long daily walk to school was a major challenge. Exhaustion drained the energy he needed to inspire his students. But everything changed when he received a bicycle from the "One 4 One" initiative. Suddenly, Jon could teach with enthusiasm, and his students flourished. The bicycle gave Jon not only mobility but also the chance to change his students’ lives and offer them a better future.A Token of Gratitude
As a thank you for supporting this important project, every buyer of a Keskin E-Bike receives a personal certificate confirming their participation in this life-changing initiative. This certificate symbolizes not only support but also a contribution to changing the lives of people in need.A Call for Cooperation
We believe that together we can achieve great things. With the "One 4 One" project, we want to give people in Uganda a new perspective and improve their mobility. To reach our goal of 5,000 bicycles, we invite our partners and supporters to promote and spread this project.Every bit of support counts and helps change the lives of families in Uganda—one ride at a time. Let’s bring more bicycles and thus more opportunities to communities in need together!
